The MK25 is Scubapro’s premium first stage featuring a balanced through-flow piston design that is capable of delivering unbelievable gas flow rates regardless of depth, cylinder pressure or breathing rate. The first stage uses a combination of anti-freeze coatings and components to meet and surpass the requirements for cold water rating without the need to pack the balancing chamber with silicone grease. The MK25 is fitted with four low pressure high flow ports around the outside of a swivelling turret and a fifth port on the end that provides optimal hose routing for technical diving. Two high pressure ports are situated on the main body.
The new D420 features a brand new balanced valve inside a housing supported by a full metal structure. The housing itself is made of a fiberglass reinforced nylon material – built to withstand the rigours of diving.
In addition, the breathing technology has had a HUGE upgrade! Using the latest advances in breathing performance technology, this a premium, modern, cutting edge regulator! Called the progressive flow control valve, it is able to deliver abundant airflow, with a natural smoothness comparable to what you might experience breathing on the surface.
We also have a newly designed DIVE / PRE DIVE system built into a switch on the top of the casing. This has a thumb tab for adjusting the direction of the airflow right out of the valve.
