Ellerton, Yorkshire’s premier dive site, is freshwater, spring-fed lake located in the East Riding of Yorkshire. With a maximum depth of 9 meters, this is a perfect diving space for divers with a minimum amount of experience and requires only a novice level of training. We occasionally use the lake to complete open water training, particularly if weather conditions make the coast unsuitable.

Visibility can be limited due to either algae or by divers kicking up the silty bottom. Access is easy, from the car park it is a 50m walk along level ground to a small jetty.

There are a few interesting underwater attractions (including Pike) including a yacht, motorboat, concrete pipes, caravans, and a few cars.
