More than a dive centre — a community of passionate explorers dedicated to sharing the underwater world.
The Diving Centre is a PADI 5 star IDC centre located in East Boldon South Tyneside. We run PADI courses from beginner try dive sessions all the way up to instructor.
Founded in East Boldon in the North East of England, The Diving Centre has been introducing people to the underwater world for over a decade. What began as a small training operation has grown into one of the region’s most respected PADI dive centres, built on experience, passion, and a genuine commitment to helping divers at every level.
We offer some of the best training facilities in the country, including our own on site heated swimming pool and modern classrooms. This allows us to deliver high quality, structured training led by experienced and knowledgeable instructors. Courses are scheduled weekly at convenient times, and with full control of our facilities we can accommodate a wide range of availability. Alongside training, we run a busy and well established dive community that welcomes all ages and abilities. From local UK dives to international trips, social events, and diving seminars, there is always something happening. We also operate a fully stocked retail shop, both in store and online, offering diving and water sports equipment from leading manufacturers at competitive prices. With next day delivery available online, it is easy to access the gear you need. In addition, we provide a full range of servicing options including regulator servicing, in house cylinder testing, and suit repairs, ensuring your equipment remains safe and ready to use.
