Philippines March 2028

Coron is home to 10 Japanese wrecks, sunk by the American in September 1944. All the wrecks can be dives recreationally with the Irako being the deepest at 42m. Apart from wreck diving, Coron offers stunning scenery and a few interesting non-wreck dives like cathedral cave and barracuda lake. Coron is undoubtably one of the most beautiful places in the Philippines.

Sangat Island resort is perfectly located close to the main cluster of wrecks, less than a 10 minute boat ride away. Far from the busy Coron town, guests will certainly feel cast away in nature on this peaceful island with it owns picturesque white sand beach. The open-air bar offers superb views of the starry night sky whilst enjoying an ice cols San Miguel.

Malapascua is the only place in the world where recreational divers can predictably see Thresher sharks. The sharks come up from the deep for a clean on Kemod Shoal and it is not uncommon to see several or more individuals during one dive, and the sharks can get close, really close!

Exotic Resort was the first resort to offer diving with the Thresher sharks 25 plus years ago and helped put Malapascua on the map as a truly incredible place to dive. Located on the south eastern corner of Bounty Beach, Exotic resort offers excellent facilities throughout, including a first class restaurant, superb dive boats and guides, spacious and comfortable rooms and friendly staff.
