Being able to take photo’s underwater has never been more accessible and easier due to underwater digital cameras. However, there is a difference between taking a photo and taking a good photo. With the Digital Underwater Photography this will teach you how to get the best from your underwater camera and understand the basics behind camera set up, white balance and composition.

The course consists of two levels.

Level one includes a pool session where you can get to grips with the essential basics of underwater photography such as equipment set up and care and the ‘SEA’ principal (shoot, evaluate, adjust) This is followed by an open water dive with instructor guidance to develop your technique. (£175)

Level two includes understanding file formats, resolution, image sizing and composition. There are then two open water dives to complete where you put the principles into practice and work alongside the instructor to take some great shots. (£175)

There is also a DVD and a self study theory book to work through with knowledge reviews and a short test at the end to confirm your understanding of the material.
