Although required to complete the PADI Rescue Diver speciality, the Emergency First Response course is a must for divers and non-divers alike.
Accidents, injuries and illnesses can happen at anytime whether you’re at work, playing sport, socialising or simply out and about. This course provides you with the awareness and skills to be able to help those in need.
The course is broken into two parts: Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid). Primary Care teaches you how to respond to life-threatening emergencies and Secondary Care covers injuries that are not immediately life threatening such as shock management and bandaging. Primary and secondary care both use a combination of knowledge development, skill development and realistic scenario practice to make sure you have the confidence to provide care when it is needed.
The course is classroom based and lasts a full day.
